WINeFare Code of Conduct

 
 

  1. Don’t be afraid to ask the winemakers questions. 

  2. Make room so that others can taste and talk with the winemakers, too. 

  3. Be mindful of the beautiful space! Please put your glass in a designated area when you’re no longer using it, and use the compost and recycling bins for trash.  

  4. Do not drive even if you are slightly buzzed. Perhaps take public transportation. The Haight Street Art Center is close to many MUNI lines, including Van Ness station, and the 6 bus line will let you off right in front of the building. 

  5. Verbal, physical, or sexual harassment towards anyone at the tasting, including winemakers, volunteers, staff, and attendees, is not tolerated. Anyone who violates this policy will be permanently banned from future WINeFares. Verbal harassment includes hate speech.

  6. Bring a mask. Given the number of people in attendance, there are times when masking might be recommended or required.  

  7. You must show proof of COVID 19 vaccination and/or at least one booster shot.
